Engleman still competes nationally in both singles and doubles with the USTA. She played collegiate tennis at Butler before graduating from Ball State in 1988.

Elana Engleman, a native of Indianapolis, Indiana, has been selected as the
new Tennis Director for the new North Bossier Tennis Center
scheduled to open on/about June 15, 2006. Engleman has been teaching tennis for
the past 22
years
in Washington
D.C., Ceseme, Turkey, Indiana, Alabama and in Florida. She has a
P1 certification through the United States Professional Tennis Association
and in 1993 was awarded the USPTA Indiana Teaching Professional of the Year.
