2008 NTRP League End of Year Ratings November 20, 2008 The tentative date for releasing year-end NTRP ratings for USTA League players is scheduled for December 1st, 2008. Play Tennis Bossier Expansion Tournament Results November 3, 2008 Wow! Based on feedbacks from the players,  the tournament was a huge success.  With perfect weather, lots of good food, door prizes and competitive tennis, everyone had a great experience.   The tournament began with the the Adult play starting at 9:00 am, followed by a children clinic at 4:00 pm and wrapping up with grades 6 -12 at 7:00 pm.   The four adult teams competing were the Lobbers, Poachers, Smashers and Lovers.  Each team comprised of 11 men and 11 women.  The Poachers prevailed as the champions with the Lobbers close behind, but the main reason for the tournament was for everyone to have a good time and raise money for the expansion of the Bossier Tennis Center.   Click here for the draw and scores.   Photos of the tournament will be posted in a few days. Play Tennis Bossier Expansion Tournament - Sign Up Now! October 27, 2005 The Play Tennis Bossier Expansion tournament will be held this Saturday November 1st starting at 9:00 am.  There will be events for all ages: Adults: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm - Team Tennis format - no partner needed. All players will play 3 matches and matches will be competitive. Grades K - 5:  4:00 pm - 6:00 pm - Play will be organized by Pro Elana Engleman. Grades 6 - 12: 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm - Play will be organized by Pro Elana Engleman. Entry Fee: $15.00 for adults and $6.00 for grades K - 12. All players will received a Play Tennis Bossier T-shirt and a Play Tennis Bossier bumper sticker. Food:  Adults - Lunch with our own Edwin Embry cooking up his famous BBQ meats plus all the trimmings, baked beans, salads and drinks. Grade K - 12 - Hot dogs, snacks and drinks. Mark Your Calendar - November 1 September 20, 2008 There will be a tournament to benefit the expansion effort at the North Bossier Park Tennis Center on November 1, 2008.  Let us get together for some tennis, food and to show our support for an expansion of the North Bossier Tennis Center.  More information will be available in the near future.  The expansion campaign is to secure additional courts and a larger facility building for players. Monster Mash Texas A & M Benefit Tournament September 20, 2008 The Monster Mash Texas A & M Benefit Tournament will be held at the Bossier Tennis Center on October 24-26.  All net proceeds will be contributed to an Endowed Scholarship from the North Louisiana A&M Club to waive out of state tuition for local students. This event is being organized in a Team Format and will include: THREE MATCHES GUARANTEED, a polycarbonate bottle and towel, dinner Friday night, breakfast and lunch Saturday, and a COSTUME PARTY held at Club Encore on Sat. All matches will be played at Bossier Tennis Center with each team playing one match on Friday night, two matches on Saturday and Championships on Sunday.  Sign up at the Pro Shop.
